Michelle Miller '86 Delivers the Matheson Lecture in Corporate Governance

Last week, Minnesota Law hosted the Matheson Lecture in Corporate Governance with Michelle Miller ’86, former vice president, chief counsel, employment law at Medtronic. Miller spoke on the topic of corporate decision-making regarding public statements in an age of influence by and expectations of social media, employees, customers and institutional investors.

Miller's lecture, “To Speak or Not to Speak: Balancing Corporate Interests and Pressures in External Communications,” added to the conversation series created with a gift from Dean ’08 and Diana Matheson to honor Dean’s father Professor John Matheson and to highlight the valuable work being done within the Corporate Institute.
