Prof. Linus Chan Among Attorneys Named Minnesota Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer

Professor Linus Chan, the James H. Binger Professor of Clinical Law, has been named a Minnesota Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer in the Group category for his participation in "Immigration Attorneys for Drivers Licenses for All."

The complete group of attorneys includes: Michele Garnett McKenzie of The Advocates of Human Rights; Michelle Rivero of City of Minneapolis; Edmundo Lijo of City of St. Paul; Susana De Leon of De Leon & Nestor; Julia Decker '14, Marissa Hill-Dongre, and Veena Iyer of Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota; Ana Pottratz Acosta of Mitchell Hamline School of Law; Linus Chan of University of Minnesota Law School; and Virgil Wiebe of University of St. Thomas Law School.

Minnesota Lawyer will recognize all honorees at a ceremony in February 2024.
