“This fantastic new fellowship program, including the generous scholarship attached, offers an incredible opportunity for a prospective student to study law at one of the nation’s leading public law schools, and to receive mentorship and highly desired professional opportunities with one of the nation’s premier law firms,” said Garry W. Jenkins, dean and William S. Pattee Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School. “We are honored that Jones Day is investing so much of its time and resources in our outstanding students, demonstrating the strength of its commitment to diversifying the profession. The inclusion of more diverse perspectives and voices is important to our profession and benefits the communities in which we work and live.”
