Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin was quoted by KMSP News in a recent piece on the challenges faced by Afghan refugees living in Minnesota. August 15th, 2022 marks the one year anniversary of the Kabul falling to the Taliban. Reflecting on the occasion, Professor Ní Aoláin stated "Since that day, we've seen catastrophes. We've seen catastrophe for the people of Afghanistan and most particularly, we've seen catastrophe for the women and girls of Afghanistan."
