Prof. Fionnuala Ní Aoláin Participated in an Event at the U.S. Institute of Peace about the Role of Women in the Ending the War in Ukraine

Prof. Fionnuala Ní Aoláin participated in a discussion at the U.S. Institute of Peace this week, entitled, "The Day After Conflict: Women’s Meaningful Participation in Post-War Ukraine." The event addressed how women could potentially end the conflict in Ukraine. Ní Aoláin recently wrote a blog post for Just Security, "Women are at the Center of Ukraine's Path to Justice and Recovery." She continues to work on the issue of women's participation in the end of the war in Ukraine since she visited Ukraine in December 2024 for the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Genocide Convention.
