Prof. Fionnuala Ní Aoláin has written an article in Foreign Affairs on "The Child Victims of ISIS: Repatriating the Residents of Syria’s Detention Camps." She describes the dire situation that children are facing in these detention camps, while urging countries with citizens in the camps to act. "[C]ountries will need to make a massive humanitarian investment," she writes, "to provide the basic semblance of a dignified life to children in these camps."
