Professor Myron Orfield was quoted in The American Prospect about the segregated pattern of voucher use in first ring suburbs of the United States. “Vouchers tend to be part of a residential transition in an area and become symptoms of the ongoing re-segregation and decline. It should be just the opposite, they should be targeted to places that are strong and stable," Orfield said.
