Prof. Orfield Comments on Lawsuit Claiming Minnesota Fails to Educate Poor, Minority Students

Professor Myron Orfield was quoted in a Star Tribune article entitled "Lawsuit Claims Minnesota Fails to Educate Poor, Minority Students in Minneapolis, St. Paul." Attorneys are asking for a metro-wide integration plan, including new school district boundaries. Orfield said, "These are hard things. The more segregated you get, the harder it is to do something about it." Orfield was also interviewed by Al Jazeera America for a piece entitled "Twin Cities Schools are Accused of Segregation."
