The Law School will be hosting the Minnesota Court of Appeals on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd @ 12:15 p.m. in Room 25.

The Court of Appeals will hear an argument in an actual case, followed by a Q+A with the judges:

  • Panel: Judge Tracy M. Smith, Judge Jennifer Frisch, and Judge Jonathan Schmidt
  • Case No. A23-1593 – State of Minnesota, Respondent, vs. Daquan Christopher Savon Ledbetter, Appellant.
  • Ledbetter Briefs

This is an outstanding opportunity to watch an argument, witness oral advocacy, and interact with three members of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

As an added bonus, two students in attendance will be randomly selected to win a five-pack of parking passes for the Mondale Hall lot!
