Join the Human Rights CenterBinger Center for New Americans, and ORAM for this special panel event. Hear from leaders and advocates about the legal, societal, and personal barriers LGBTIQ asylum seekers and migrants face on their journey from fleeing their home countries to arriving in Minnesota. 

Panelists include Steve Roth, Executive Director at ORAM and Annie Nolte-Henning, Executive Director at Community Sponsorship Hub. We will also be joined by panelists that will share their lived experiences as an LGBTIQ asylum seekers in Minnesota. The panel will be moderated by Sarah Brenes, Executive Director of the Binger Center for New Americans. Opening remarks will be provided Amanda Lyons '09 and Rich Voelbel '75.
