Reflecting on the potential impact of the case, Professor Hickman shared, “I think it’s great clickbait to have dramatic headlines about the Supreme Court blowing up the administrative state, but irrespective of what happens in Loper Bright, I just don’t see it.”

Professor William McGeveran was mentioned in Minnesota Lawyer's 'People & Practice', a section of their publication that features news about Minnesotan lawyers. Professor McGeveran's feature covered the news that he was recently named Interim Dean of Minnesota Law. Professor McGeveran will hold the title until a permanent dean is in place.

Professor Elizabeth Bentley was quoted in Minnesota Lawyer discussing the case, State of Minnesota v. Amber Kay Barrow, in which the Minnesota Supreme Court held that a search of a woman's purse in a car was lawful under the automobile exception to the Fourth Amendment’s warrant requirement. Professor Bentley and Minnesota Law's Civil Rights Appellate Clinic represented the ACLU and the ACLU of Minnesota as amici curiae in the case.

Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin was interviewed on the Lawfare podcast on whether or not spyware could ever be compliant with human rights. As U.N. Special Rapporteur, Professor Ní Aoláin recently published a report on the Global Regulation of the Counter-Terrorism Spyware Technology Trade.

Professor Paul Vaaler was quoted in a Star Tribune article discussing Caribou Coffee's announcement that they looking to expand their business via franchises. Commenting on the strategy, Professor Vaaler stated, "It's a way for Caribou to increase their footprint nationally. You become asset-light because you don't have to build bricks and mortar."
