Laura Wilson is an adjunct professor with the Detainee Rights Clinic. She has represented immigration law clients both in private practice and at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA), with an emphasis on cases involving gender-based and family violence.
At MMLA, Wilson also represented youth experiencing homelessness and sexual exploitation in a wide range of civil law matters. In addition, she worked locally and internationally to improve legal system responses to gender-based violence as a human rights attorney with Global Rights for Women. Currently, she practices immigration law at J.P. Larson Law Office in Minneapolis.
