Prof. Moriearty Testifies in Support of Bill to Create Felony Murder Reform Task Force in Minnesota

On March 4, 2020, Professor Perry Moriearty testifed before the Minnesota House of Representatives Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Committee in support of HF 3976, which would establish a bi-partisan task force of criminal justice stakeholders, experts, and impacted persons and families to study and make recommendations to the Legislature about ways to reform Minnesota’s felony murder and aiding and abetting laws.
