Prof. Carbone Participated in Experts’ Meeting in Rome, Italy on Inequality and the Family

Professor June Carbone particpated in “Family Inequality: Causes & Consequences in Europe & the Americas,” a Social Trends Institute Experts Meeting in Rome, Italy, Feb. 17-18. The meeting brought together social scientists and law professors to engage in a comparative examination of the emergence of the family as a sign of growing inequality. The papers developed new cross-country data on the changing family, the links to inequality, the potential legal, economic, and cultural causes, and the implications for children.
