Professor Francis Shen's recently published article, "Invisible Inequality: The Two Americas of Military Sacrifice," was featured in a Public News Service story. The study found that in America's modern wars, the burden of sacrifice has not been borne evenly. Poorer communities experience greater rates of casualties and wounded soldiers.
