Prof. Cotter on KMSP About Political Campaigns' Uses of Copyrighted Songs

Professor Tom Cotter was interviewed on KMSP Fox News 9 for a story about disputes pitting songwriters and recording artists against political campaigns that use copyrighted songs without permission. Cotter discussed some of the issues arising under copyright and the right of publicity, and stated that, "The bottom line is anybody who wants to use songwriters’ work for their campaign probably ought to ask for their permission."
