Prof. Moriearty on MPR News and Quoted by Multiple Publications in Connection with Recent Supreme Court Decision
Professor Perry Moriearty was interviewed on MPR and quoted by the Star Tribune, the International Business Times and Minnesota Lawyer in connection with the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision in Montgomery v. Louisiana, which held that its prior decision in Miller v. Alabama affords relief to more than 2,000 inmates who were sentenced to mandatory life without parole as juveniles. Prof. Moriearty is co-director of the University of Minnesota Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic, which represents two Minnesota inmates who stand to benefit from the decisions.
