Professor June Carbone was quoted in a National Jurist article looking at expanding opportunities in health law. She mentioned the trends that will produce more demand for legal services, including electronic records and privacy concerns, hospital consolidation and anti-trust enforcement, medical tourism both within the United States and abroad in search of more affordable or more available treatments, changes in third party reimbursement practices, and the increasing importance of anti-fraud efforts.
