Prof. Carbone's Work on 'Red Families v. Blue Families' Discussed in New York Times

Professor June Carbone's book with Naomi Cahn, Red Families v. Blue Families (2010), was the subject of David Leonhardt's column in the New York Times. The column is part of an on-going discussion of different family strategies to deal with changing economic times. Professors Brad Wilcox and Nicholas Zill published a new study responding to Carbone and Cahn's book, which suggested that the high divorce rates in red states reflects greater overall commitment to marriage, Leonhardt published an initial column on the Wilcox-Zill study, and Carbone and Cahn wrote a response in Concurring Opinions. The new Leonhardt column continues the discussion.
