Prof. Vaaler Comments on Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Negotiations

Professor Paul Vaaler was interviewed by WCCO Radio's Dave Lee on the local business implications of fast-track negotiation and approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a prospective trade and investment agreement comprising the United States and several Asia-Pacific countries, most notably Japan (but neither China nor India). The 12-nation TPP agreement would bring down trade and investment barriers relevant to Minnesota agricultural firms (e.g., CHS) and high-technology firms (e.g., Medtronic).
