Prof. Moriearty Quoted in Star Tribune on Juvenile Sentencing
Professor Perry Moriearty was quoted in a Star Tribune article entitled "Two Minneapolis Federal Judges Issue Opposite Decisions in Two Teens' Life Sentences." The article discusses one of the juvenile-life-without-parole cases on which students in the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic have been working for the last two years and explores the state of the law in the aftermath of the U.S. Supreme Court's 2012 decision in Miller v. Alabama.
