Career Center Launches 'Lawyering for Social Justice' Series; Prof. Heather Abraham '12 Is First Guest

Minnesota Law's Career Center recently launched an engaging new series, "Lawyering for Social Justice."

The series provides an opportunity to hear from human rights and social justice practitioners and to learn about their work and diverse career paths in the field.

The series premier featured Professor Heather Abraham '12, director of the Civil Rights & Transparency Clinic at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. Professor Abraham has previously held two federal clerkships, an Equal Justice Works Fellowship, and completed a clinical teaching fellowship at Georgetown Law.

Public Interest & Lecturer in Law Anne Sexton moderated a wide ranging 40-minute discussion with Professor Abraham on her public interest career.
