Prof. Linus Chan Appointed Vaughan G. Papke Research Scholar

Associate Clinical Professor of Law Linus Chan has been appointed the Law School's Vaughan G. Papke Research Scholar.

The Papke Research Scholar title is intended to recognize and celebrate important scholarly contributions by the Law School’s clinical law faculty who have and continue to produce important and substantial scholarship. Chan’s appointment runs through June 30, 2023.

"[Professor Chan] has published numerous articles on immigration and deportation law, published in the Boston College Law Review, Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, and Valparaiso University Law Review, among others," said Garry W. Jenkins, dean and William S. Pattee Professor of Law. "His impact in the courtroom, in the classroom, and in scholarship are incredible."

Chan's new title comes with a $5,000 grant to be used for professional development, including research and travel.
