Prof. Klass in Corporate Crime Reporter on Eminent Domain Use for Pipelines

Professor Klass was interviewed by Corporate Crime Reporter for a feature on "eminent domain for private gain." In the interview, Professor Klass discussed the growing controversies over the use of eminent domain for oil pipelines and other energy infrastructure projects. Such controversies have become more frequent as a result of the need to construct more oil and gas pipelines and interstate electric transmission lines to transport the nation's growing wind, natural gas, and oil resources. Such domestic resources have become far more plentiful in the past decade as a result of  new technologies like hydraulic fracturing and the dropping cost of renewable energy resources. She also discussed the long history of the use of eminent domain for economic development purposes in the United States.
