Prof. Jain Appointed to Two Committees of International Law

Professor Neha Jain has been appointed as a Member of the Asian Society of International Law's Planning Committee, and has also been elected Vice-Chair of the American Society of International Law's Midwest Interest Group.

The Asian Society of International Law is an international nonpartisan, nonprofit and nongovernmental organization that seeks to fosterĀ Asian perspectives of international law and to genenerally promote the research, education and practice of international law.

The American Society of International Law's mission is to foster the study of international law and to promote the establishment and maintenanceĀ of international relations on the basis of law and justice. The Midwest Interest Group division, a pilot project launched in February 2010, is designed to enhance the Society's regional presence.
