Taking Care of Business Speakers Series: Howard Root ('85)

Howard Root ('85) will speak about how he went from Law School to founding Vascular Solutions, Inc. in 1997, taking it public in 2000, and growing it into a worldwide medical device company that he sold to Teleflex for $1 billion in February 2017. Root is also the author of "Cardiac Arrest," his account of how U.S. prosecutors brought charges against him and his company for alleged off-label sales of a medical device; charges for which all were acquitted after trial.
