Student Support & Standards

The conduct of law students and members of the Law School community are governed by a range of Law School, University, and professional rules and expectations. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with expectations, but can seek guidance or clarification through the Assistant Dean of Students (lawdos@umn.edu) or Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Support & Standards includes:

• Facilitating student development of core Law School Learning Outcomes
• Addressing high-sensitivity student concerns
• Providing academic and personal advising, referral, accommodations, and academic/bar support
• Providing rule and policy development, interpretation, and enforcement (see Rules & Policies for Students)
