Access Online Resources
The Law Library provides access to three public computer workstations located on the plaza level of the library. Users can access the library's online resources such as databases (subject to license restrictions) and other resources available on the web. Use of the Library's electronic resources is governed by the Law Library Acceptable Use of Electronic Resources policy. Please Note: the Law Library does not provide an option to print from these workstations. Patrons using these workstations may download documents onto their own flash drives (the Law Library does not provide flash drives). Some databases may provide an option to email documents.
Off-Site Access to Online Resources
Due to licensing restrictions, off-site access to online resources is only available to current University of Minnesota Twin Cities students, faculty, and staff. Note: off-site access to certain online resources is further restricted to the faculty, students and staff of the University of Minnesota Law School. If you have questions about off-site access to our online resources contact the Law Library Reference Office, law-ref@umn.edu, 612-625-4309.
Minnesota residents can take advantage of the ELM (Electronic Library of Minnesota) for journal articles, ebooks, and more.
Alumni of the Law School have off-site access to two online resources provided by the Law Library.
