Prof. Jill Hasday Interviewed on WCCO Radio Discussing Supreme Court’s Reinterpretation of the Voting Rights Act

Professor Jill Hasday, Distinguished McKnight University Professor and Centennial Professor in Law, was interviewed on WCCO Radio’s Adam and Jordana Show discussing the U.S. Supreme Court’s reinterpretation of the Voting Rights Act. The U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision along partisan lines, ruled that Louisiana's 2024 election map, which created a second majority-Black congressional district, was “an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.” Listen to the interview.
