Prof. Susan Wolf Interviewed by MPR News About How Ethics, Funding Cuts, and AI Affect Scientific Research

Professor Susan Wolf, Regents Professor and McKnight Presidential Professor of Law, Medicine & Public Policy, was interviewed by MPR News about scientific research including how funding cuts and AI are reshaping scientific research. Prof. Wolf is also organizing the University of Minnesota’s Annual Research Day Conference. In response to a question about why it’s so important to focus on ethics when doing scientific research, she said, “You really can’t do research responsibly without paying very close attention to how you’re designing the research, how you're treating the human beings who are generous enough to participate in the research.
