Prof. Jill Hasday Testifies for State Equal Rights Amendment Before Minnesota Senate Committee

Professor Jill Hasday, Distinguished McKnight University Professor and Centennial Professor in Law, testified before the Minnesota Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee earlier this week in support of adding an Equal Rights Amendment to the Minnesota Constitution. The Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee voted to pass SF 473, a bill which would put the Minnesota Equal Rights Amendment on November’s ballot. The legislation now moves to the Senate Rules Committee where it will be considered before moving to the floor.
