Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, Regents Professor and Robina Chair in Law, Public Policy, and Society, was interviewed by RTE Radio 1 in Ireland about the current situation in Minnesota following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. Prof. Ní Aoláin said, “I think what we’re seeing is real fear on the streets. American citizens, particularly brown and black American citizens, just afraid to be outside their doors, and I think that is a really chilling effect in Minnesota, but also a chilling effect across the entirety of the country.” Listen to the full interview.
