Prof. Oren Gross named a Senior Scholar with CSIC

Professor Oren Gross, Irving Younger Professor of Law, was named a senior scholar with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the Spanish National Research Council. The prestigious body is the leading Spanish organization by number of projects and economic return in the Framework Program of the European Union. It is a European leader in scientific research and technological development, with a special legal status in Spain. During his stay with the CSIC, Prof. Gross will be researching “Lawyers Subverting the Rule of Law in Authoritarian Regimes,” building on his pioneering research on the role of legal academics in the Third Reich.
