Prof. Megan Walsh Interviewed on ABC News and CNN About Shooting in Minneapolis

Professor Megan Walsh, director of the Gun Violence Prevention Clinic, was interviewed on ABC News and CNN about the school/church shooting yesterday in Minneapolis. She said that mourning the loss of lives comes first, but action is required to not let shootings like this happen again. She said, “What I ask of people is, don’t just show up today [at memorial services], think about what you can do tomorrow, what can you do next week, can you donate, can you volunteer? And what I ask of my legislators is, can we do something about this legislatively, can we ban the assault weapons that seem to have been used in this shooting.” Watch the interview.
