Dean William McGeveran Quoted by Star Tribune About New Magistrate Judge Elsa M. Bullard

Dean William McGeveran, William S. Pattee Professor of Law, was quoted by the Minnesota Star Tribune about Elsa M. Bullard being appointed Monday as the newest magistrate judge for Minnesota’s federal district court, filling the vacancy left by Judge Tony N. Leung’s retirement in May. Minnesota has seven district magistrate judges, along with one part-time magistrate judge, who serve renewable eight-year terms. Dean McGeveran said that Bullard exemplifies the school’s core value of public service and is “no stranger to serving her country.” He added, “She has a background as a dedicated and committed public servant.”
