Dean William McGeveran Delivers the Tangentem Lecture at Oxford

In March, Dean William McGeveran, William S. Pattee Professor of Law, delivered the Tangentem Lecture at Oxford's annual International Intellectual Property Law Moot Court Competition. Student competitors and their coaches from around the world attended the keynote address, along with faculty and guests from the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre.
McGeveran's lecture, "Idolizing Brands," covered trademark dilution law and how it sometimes strays from the core purpose of trademark protection.
McGeveran is pictured speaking at Oxford and with Sir Robin Jacob, a retired judge who formerly served on the Court of Appeal of England and Wales.
