Professor Richard Painter, S. Walter Richey Professor of Corporate Law, was quoted in WalletHub about its annual survey of taxpayers and their opinions of the tax system. Regarding what people should be mostly concerned about, Prof. Painter said, “People should be concerned about who they elect to state and federal government to set tax rates and spend the money. Are our elected officials truly serving us or are they only advancing their own political careers by spending our money and perhaps even enriching themselves?”
