Prof. Paul Vaaler Interviewed on WCCO Radio About How Minnesotans Will Pay More Due to Tariffs

Professor Paul Vaaler, John and Bruce Mooty Chair in Law and Business, was interviewed on WCCO Radio about how Minnesotans could see an increase in prices sooner rather than later thanks to President Trump’s tariffs and the reciprocal tariffs from Canada, Mexico and China turning it into a trade war. Prof. Vaaler described the areas where consumers will feel the effects of the tariffs first: “Non-durables, particularly foodstuffs, particularly fruits and foodstuffs that go to the grocery stores are going to show higher prices more quickly.”
