Minnesota Law's Sports Law Competition team traveled to New Orleans this week to compete at the Mardi Gras Moot Court Competition at Tulane University Law School. Adam George '25 took home a trophy for Best Oralist, 3rd Overall. Shayna Korsh '25 and Evan Bracewell '26 were on the team that won a trophy for Best Brief, 2nd Overall. The program's coaches are Chris Pham, Aalok Sharma ‘13, and Tarun Sharma ‘22 (pictured).

The Mardi Gras Moot Court Competition is the only moot court competition in the country devoted to sports legal issues. Tulane Moot Court students have hosted the annual competition for over 25 years. It gives law students across the country an opportunity to test their advocacy skills on a legal problem inspired by the hottest topics in sports law, all during one of the world’s greatest celebrations: Mardi Gras.

Congratulations to the Sports Law Competition Team!
