Professors Bix, Bodie, Carbone, and Hickman Ranked Among the Top Cited Faculty in the U.S.
Four Minnesota Law faculty members have been ranked among the most highly cited professors in their areas of expertise, according to data from the latest Sisk Report. Brian Bix, Frederick W. Thomas Professor of Law and Philosophy, has been ranked 8th among the top 10 most-cited law and philosophy faculty in the U.S. from 2019-23; Matthew Bodie, Robins Kaplan Professor of Law, has been ranked 6th among the top 10 most-cited labor and employment law faculty in the U.S. from 2019-23; June Carbone, Robina Chair in Law, Science, and Technology, has been ranked 5th among the top 10 most-cited family law faculty in the U.S. from 2019-23; and Kristin Hickman, associate dean for research & intellectual life, McKnight Presidential Professor of Law, Distinguished McKnight University Professor, and Harlan Albert Rogers Professor in Law, has been ranked 11th among the top 20 most-cited administrative and/or environmental law faculty in the U.S. from 2019-2023, and is among the most highly cited scholars working partly in tax law.
