As the war in Ukraine passes its third anniversary, join the University of Minnesota Law School Human Rights Center on March 17 for a critical examination of U.S.-Ukraine relations at this pivotal moment in the conflict featuring experts from Lawfare and Just Security.

This timely discussion brings together diverse expertise from leading national security platforms. Featured speakers include Tyler McBrien, Lawfare's managing editor, and Anastasiia Lapatina, Lawfare's Ukraine Fellow, who will share insights from their new narrative podcast "Escalation" about U.S.-Ukraine relations, as well as Viola Gienger, Washington Senior Editor for Just Security and former senior editor/writer at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, where she conducted research and program strategy work on Russia’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine.

Professor Alan Rozenshtein, Associate Professor of Law and Research Director and Senior Editor at Lawfare will moderate the panel.

The panel will explore how historical moments have shaped current policy challenges, battlefield developments, and the uncertain future of international support for Ukraine. This interdisciplinary conversation at the intersection of law, journalism, and international relations will offer both scholarly analysis and first-hand perspectives on a conflict that continues to reshape global politics.

RSVP required, lunch will be provided.
