Ways to Engage

Minnesota Law students have many opportunities to engage in DEI efforts in our collegial community. You can participate in student-led initiatives, organizations, and journals, gain real-world knowledge and experience through our clinical, experiential, and robust academic courses, and participate in a wide-range of programs that examine issues at the intersections of law and racial and social equity and justice.

Read, Watch, or Listen (RWL)

Students, staff, and faculty are invited to join Read, Watch or Listen (RWL). RWL encourages participants to read, watch, or listen to a podcast, book, documentary, or article around a specific topic related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. For example, this summer, our topic is DEI in Education. RWL has curated list of books, documentaries, articles, and podcasts that participants can select in order to be prepared to participate in a discussion. If you are interested in participating, please sign up using this form. For students working on the REJ milestone, participating in both discussion meetings will provide 2 units toward completion of the milestone.
